About Staxen
Staxen is software for tradesmen who run the business from the job site. It works like a small office staff: three AI employees named Eddie, Josie and Ivy write the estimates, keep the jobs moving and send the invoices, and you approve anything a customer sees. Staxen is made by Staxen LLC.
What Staxen does
You describe a job by voice or text and Eddie the Estimator writes the priced, line-item estimate, then sends it by text or email so the client can e-sign and pay a deposit from their phone. Josie the Job Manager keeps the schedule, the change orders and the lead pipeline. Ivy the Invoicer builds the invoice, takes card and ACH payments through Stripe, and keeps QuickBooks Online in sync.
Your clients need no app and no login. They get a text or an email with a link.
Staxen runs on iPhone, Android and the web, in English and Spanish.
Who it is for
Electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs, roofers, painters, landscapers, remodelers, carpenters, handymen and the other trades that quote a job, do the work and then bill for it. Mostly owners and small crews who would rather be on the tools than at a desk doing paperwork.
How we work
Nothing goes out without you. Every estimate, invoice and change order is a draft until you review it and send it.
A price you give is the price that goes out. When no source has a price for a line, Eddie fills in a figure and marks it Eddie's estimate so you know to check it.
We say the price. Staxen is $59 a month per AI employee, or $149 a month for all three, month to month. The first 7 days are free in the app.
Our comparison pages include the rows where the other app wins, and our pricing guides say where their numbers come from and what they leave out.
